Toronto Regatta - Blue

This set of three sailboats with blue glass sails measuring 6 x 4, 5.5 x 3.5 and 5 x 3 inches are set in wave-rounded pieces of cream coloured brick found on the shores of Lake Ontario in Toronto. The sails are set into grooves that we cut into the bases and are secured with a waterproof glue so they can be enjoyed outside or inside. Every glass sail was hand-cut and kiln fired, then slowly cooled to strengthen the glass, making it sturdy yet graceful. 

Each set is unique as their sailboat bases and will differ slightly in shape and size from the set pictured.
